PCV LICENCE TYPE D PREPARATION
Driving a small passenger carrying vehicle (PCV) weighing a maximum of 3.5 tonnes requires a basic PCV D1 licence. But if you want to add a trailer weighing more than 750kg to a minibus and drive it legally then you will need to qualify for a PCV D1+E licence.
At HGV PCV Training we can provide you with the training you will need to complete the theory and practical tests for this type of licence, starting you out on the road to a more satisfying and lucrative career.
Who can take the PCV D1+E test?
Provided that you hold a public service vehicle (PSV) licence you will be eligible to qualify to become a PCV D1+E driver.
If you fall into this category then we will be able to help you apply for your licence and also give you the training to maximise your chances of passing quickly, ensuring that you are not delayed in taking the next step of your career.
What are the advantages?
In addition to the high quality training delivered by our team of instructors, people who qualify for a PCV D1+E licence with HGV PCV Training will be able to offer their employers much more in terms of professional driving skill.
Being able to drive a minibus with a heavy trailer of 750kg or more will open up a wide range of opportunities, while also standing you in good stead if you decide to go for a full PCV D license in the future.
