ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GETTING YOUR LORRY LICENCE
Get your HGV Licence with Specialised HGV Trainers
HGV PCV Training should not be seen as cost, but more of an investment. Attaining HGV entitlement normally means investing in a new career and challenge. If you want cheap training then you’ll get poorly paid, demotivated Instructors and you’ll train in older and therefore less reliable training vehicles – both of which will make it far less likely for you to attain your HGV licence. What we offer is affordable high quality HGV training which has a proven track record of getting results.
As one of the UK’s leading providers of lorry driver training courses, we have had extraordinary success with a high pass rate on all our LGV / HGV courses in the UK. This enables hundreds of people to successfully complete the course each year, entering into the solid, stable and financially rewarding career of an LGV driver.
We know it can be difficult trying to choose a Training Provider, and we want to make sure that we’ve given you all the information we can before you take that important step and book your HGV training with us.
Demand is at an all-time high for accredited LGV (large goods vehicles) drivers. We’re proud to be able to meet this demand by providing the UK haulage industry with newly qualified LGV (formally HGV) drivers after comprehensive training.
What you earn as a lorry driver will depend on many factors including what class of driver you are (i.e. 7.5 tonnes, class 2 or class 1). Typically the higher the class the better the wage expectations (a class 1 should earn more than a class 2). What type of work you are doing, i.e. shift work, agency, directly employed, contractor etc. The average salary for a HGV driver is currently approx £25,000. However this is an average, i.e. some earn more and some earn less.
