HGV PCV TRAINING LTD
The following terms and conditions apply between the trainee driver and HGV PCV Training LTD of Regal Court Business Centre, 42 – 44 High Street, Slough, SL1 1EL. Tel No: 0800 292 2723. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
What we require from the trainee driver
1. The trainee driver will always provide the correct and full information to HGV PCV Training LTD.
2. Whilst taking the course, the trainee driver will at all times, be expected to have the necessary legal driving documents in their possession.
3. The trainee driver will show the DSA examiner and the theory test centre a form of photographic ID, their current driving licence with current address, the correct entitlement and when needed a valid theory test pass certificate. All documentation needs to be present on the days of the theory or practical driving test.
4. If at any time the trainee driver is considered to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs by HGV PCV Training LTD or it’s accredited training partners, the course will immediately be terminated and the fees will be forfeited.
5. It is the responsibility of the trainee driver to ensure that the correct provisional entitlement has been added to his/her driving licence by the DVLA. A trainee without the correct entitlement will not be allowed to train and all monies paid towards course fees will be forfeited.
6. The trainee will responsible for attending their course on the dates provided. If a change needs to be made to the dates that have been provided by HGV PCV Training LTD, the trainee will need to give HGV PCV Training LTD at least 21 day, or this will be treated as a cancellation.
7. Whilst the trainee is attending any course with HGV PCV Training LTD or their training partners, the trainee is expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. HGV PCV Training LTD reserve the right to terminate a course in a reasonable discretion without any warning, should them feel that a trainee has acted or behaved inappropriately, including; but not limited to verbal and physical abuse towards HGV PCV Training LTD staff, training partner staff or DSA staff. If the trainee wished to appeal this decision they should contact the operations manager HGV PCV Training LTD, at email@example.com
Training with HGV PCV Training LTD
The minimum course length of a C or C+E course will be 16 hours including the time whilst on test, which could run between 3 – 6 days. A training day can start from different times throughout the day, with the trainee driver spending between 3 – 8 hours at the driving wheel. Training may be carried out on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis depending on the training location. In the event of the training vehicle breaking down HGV PCV Training LTD will arrange for the trainee driver to have further training to make up for lost time, at a time that is convenient for the trainee driver at no extra cost. In the event that the course is cancelled due to instructor illness HGV PCV Training LTD will re book the course for an alternative date convenient for the trainee driver and at no extra cost. In the event that the trainee fails to complete or attend the course for whatever reason including but not limited to certified sickness then all course fees will forfeited. the trainee driver will accept that the LGV instructor believes that the trainee is not fit to take his/her LGV practical test for any reasons of safety the trainee driver will be informed and the test will be rescheduled at the trainee drivers expense. Any complaints about the LGV course should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org with your booking reference number. HGV PCV Training LTD will endeavour to reply within 21 working days all course dates, test dates and re test dates will be confirmed in writing via email unless post is requested by HGV PCV Training LTD. If no written confirmation is received then contact HGV PCV Training LTD on 0800 292 2723. Without written confirmation of your course you have no proof of booking.
(A) Course fees include, Username and Password to login and study for your theory test, Theory test, course registration, DVLA medical licence and the practical driving lessons.
(B) Course fees vary therefore trainee drivers should contact HGV PCV Training LTD directly for details of current course fees.
(C) Course fees must be paid in full 21 days prior to the booking of the C or C+E course unless a finance loan has been arranged via HGV PCV Training LTD.
(D) Course prices and any additional charges will be agreed in writing upon booking.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
(A) If the trainee drive cancels the booking within 7 days of paying, then monies paid will be refunded in full providing the trainee driver returns the welcome pack in the same condition in which it was received. This is in accordance with the distance selling regulations, 2000. Cancellations must be made in writing and sent by registered post to HGV PCV Training LTD, Regal Court Business Centre, 42 – 44 High Street, Slough SL1 1EL . If the trainee driver cancels after 7 days then they will incur a 40% cancellation fee.
(B) The terms (course bookings) ’booking’ applies to trainee drivers that have made a full or part payment on any course sold by HGV PCV Training LTD.
(C) All requests for cancellations must be made in writing and sent by registered recorded post to (HGV PCV Training LTD, Regal Court Business Centre, 42 – 44 High Street, Slough SL1 1EL.
(D) The timescale for refunds will begin from the proof of postage date on the letter as applied by Royal Mail. For cancellations requests sent by standard mail, the timescale for refunds will begin from the date the letter is received by HGV PCV Training LTD.
(E) Once a cancellation letter is received, HGV PCV Training LTD will acknowledge this in writing within 7 working days.
(F) Any refund approved will be returned to the trainee driver within 14 working within receipt of the request. SEE POINTS (C) for details.
(G) Refunds are subject to the following cancellations fees based upon the timescales below; (these are in place as HGV PCV Training LTD make block bookings for trainee drivers considerably in advance of the course dates). Cancellation requests 7 days or less after booking; no cancellation fee. Cancellation fee requests after 7 days; a cancellation fee of 40% course fees will apply. Trainee drivers can attend the courses they have purchased up to 12 months up to their purchase date. Any courses not taken with a 12 month period from purchase will become null and void and no refunds are applicable. However; – if the trainee driver contacts HGV PCV Training LTD in writing before the end of the 12 month period after booking, they may still take their training course, but the current cost of training will apply.
(H) If a trainee driver has had their course confirmed in writing, no refund is available. If genuine medical preclude the driver from attending the course, then if possible (and on the production of proof) HGV PCV Training LTD will endeavour to book the trainee driver on other course dates if possible. This change of dates will incur booking fees.
(I) If a trainee driver purchased a back to back course consisting of category C and C+E licence course then the following terms apply; Any cancellations of any element of the back to back course is subject to the terms of points (E & F) above. If the trainee has attended C portion of their course, then any cancellation of the C+E course is subject to the same point of (E &F) above. Cancellation timescale in this instance will start from the trainee driver requests cancellation of the C+E course. The distance selling regulations 2000, will not only apply in this instance – the remaining course will be subject to a 40% cancellation fee.
(J) If a trainee driver has purchased a HGV PCV Training LTD Course then the following terms apply; Trainee drivers are booked on courses and places reserved far in advance. Once a trainee driver has received written confirmation of their HGV PCV Training LTD course dates, they may if necessary, change their course dates by applying in writing, 7 days before the course start date. Changes to the course dates can only be requested a maximum of two times.
(K) Medicals if the trainee driver fails their DVLA medical, and copies of the DVLA written confirmation or failure is received by HGV PCV Training LTD from the DVLA then all course fees paid by the trainee driver are refundable. Important medical note; it is the DVLA not the examining doctor who decides the outcome of a medical examination. The trainee driver must return the completed D4 form to the DVLA, where their medical examiners will review the submission and decide on whether or not to grant a provisional licence. Correspondence from the DVLA can be accepted for a refund based on medical grounds. (1) any refund policy mentioned on this term (4) are subject to a trainee driver returning the starter pack to HGV PCV Training LTD (consisting D2, D4 Licence) in the condition it was sent to the trainee driver. If the materials described are not returned as new, then £100.00 will be deducted from any refund due / this is in addition to any cancellation fee as per clause (F) of this term 4.5.
Confidentiality and data protection
(A) HGV PCV Training LTD will keep confidential any information which the trainee drivers supply to Driver Training and Recruitment Ltd in connection with this agreement, with the expectation of basic personal details which may be shared with partner schools and potential employers as part of the placement service provided by HGV PCV Training LTD.
(B) Services provided by HGV PCV Training LTD are also administered by HGV PCV Training LTD. This primary aim of this website is to provide you (consumer) with information about what to do at HGV PCV Training LTD and how we are able to assist you in your career. We want you to feel secure when visiting our site and are committed to maintaining your privacy when doing so. The following provides an over view of how we protect your privacy during your visit.
(C) Sharing with third parties; we will not share any of the gathered information with any people or organisation outside of HGV PCV Training LTD. Sensitive personal data; we do not generally seek to collect sensitive personal data through this site. If we do not seek to collect, we will ask to consent to our proposed uses of the data we may also collect some sensitive personal data incidentally. Access to your information; you are entitled to know whether we hold information about you.
